Love These Petite Petals!

This week Create with Connie and Mary Challenge has a great sketch!  The original sketch features flowers; I stayed with that theme because I was excited to use my new Petite Petals set and Punch from the Occasions spring catalog.   I was so happy when I saw those two items in the catalog because I've been hoping a small flower punch and stamp set, and there they were!

I used Rose Red Co-ordinations cardstock embossed with the Hexagon folder for the background layer over a Coastal Cabana card.

The sentiment is from the Loving Thoughts set, stamped onto Coastal Cabana and tied with Whisper White Baker's Twine.

I used two of the flower stamps in the set, stamped them on Whisper White with Coastal Cabana, Daffodil Delight and Wisteria Wonder inks then punched them out with the coordinating punch.  Each flower has Dazzling Diamonds in the center for a little sparkle.

Here is the great sketch challenge from Create with Connie and Mary that we're using this week:

Be sure and check out the cards of the other Challenge Team Members on Connie and Mary's website this week!  These ladies are SO talented!

THEN how about creating your own card using this sketch and upload it to Create with Connie and Mary's blog so we can see your creation!

Thanks for visiting today!

Wowza! Love your cascade of flowers and curling them gives them so much more dimension. Just beautiful.

Love all those cute flowers! What a great idea to bend the petals to make them look realistic! Beautiful colors, too!

You really worked out those stamps and punch! It looks like a full bouquet of flowers on your card. And I love the sanded honeycomb in the background. Pretty!
